  1. Welcome to the CompuServe Preview.
  2.  
  3. This Read Me will tell you how to install and uninstall the 
  4. CompuServe Preview. It will also give you valuable information about 
  5. installing the CompuServe Information Manager(CIM) Software.

  9. INSTALLING AND UNINSTALLING THE COMPUSERVE PREVIEW
  10.  
  11. To install this Preview, go to the the Program Manager and run
  12. D:\CSDEMO\GOSETUP.EXE (If your CD-ROM is designated with a drive letter
  13. other than "D",  replace the initial letter with the appropriate letter
  14. for your CD-ROM drive).

  16. Select the Install CompuServe Preview option and click OK. You may
  17. interrupt the install at anytime by pressing the Escape key.
  18.  
  19. When you select the Install option from within the CompuServe Preview,
  20. the CIM software will be downloaded to your hard drive. Make sure the CD
  21. containing the CompuServe WinCIM Installer is loaded before clicking the 
  22. "Install" button.

  24. When you are through with this Preview and wish to remove
  25. it, follow these simple steps:
  26.  
  27.   1. Re-insert the CD containing the CompuServe Preview installer.
  28.  
  29.   2. Run the installer, select the Remove option, and click the OK
  30.      button.
  31.  
  32.   3. The installer will search your hard drive for the appropriate
  33.      directory and remove the Preview and its associated files.

  39. If you do not already have a valid CompuServe ID and account, 
  40. make sure you select "yes" when asked if you wish to install the signup 
  41. files. The Signup software will also ask for a valid credit card number
  42. for billings following your first month's free usage credit.
